New to volunteering? There’s a place for everyone at our table. Here’s where to start.

why Volunteers Matter

This is a Winona campaign grown from the ground up. Dan doesn’t accept money or help from corporations. His campaign is made up of real people from Winona County just like you. Volunteers decide their own schedule and what they’d like to contribute. That means he’s not beholden to the interests of partisan insiders in St. Paul. He is putting Winona County first, party and corporate elites last.

We have needs for door-to-door canvassing, phone banking, hosting meet and greets, pitching in with events, helping with social media, or delivering yard signs to folks. Volunteering is a great way to engage with your community and meet new friends! We provide training for volunteers and will work around your schedule.

This campaign is powered by neighbors like you. Whether you have five minutes or five hours a week, there’s a place for you on our team. Together, we can build a stronger, more affordable, and more connected future for our community.

Meet & Greet FAQs

  • A meet and greet is a small, informal gathering where attendees can get to know Dan. Dan will speak about his vision, listen to the interests and concerns of attendees and answer questions about his position on specific issues.

    1. Connect with us to pick a time.

    2. Choose a place (could be your home, a park, a cafe/bar/restaurant, online… anywhere! We want it to be comfortable/convenient for you and your guests).

    3. Invite guests! Our goal is for there to be between 5-15 guests at each meet and greet, but the number of invitees is up to the host.

  • It’s up to you, typically they may be around 90 minutes, but you can schedule them for as long/short as you want.

  • No. The purpose for a Meet and Greet is to make connections and give your guests a chance to get to know Dan. Dan may bring literature with his website, but he will not ask your guests for donations.

  • This is up to you. We want Dan to meet as many people with different views as possible. If you want to hear more about Dan and his vision before you make up your mind, you can still host a Meet and Greet so that other folks you know have a chance to meet Dan and make an informed decision.  You can even invite other candidates for the seat if you wish!
